Creating successor task based on inputs in previous task (metadata capture)

Hi ,

I am using TS 6.1 on win 2k .

Context

Have a simple workflow to create .Following is the details of WF .

Task1 is the start task : to capture metadata .

Have added a new field (drop down) 'Self Sign Off Case' in metadata capture screen .

It takes value YES or NO .If YES is choosen then next TASK is TASK2 else next task is TASK3



Question

Is it possible to construct my next task ( after TASK1 ) based on value entered in metadata field during TASK1?

Or should I move this 'Self Sign Off Case' field from metadata capture screen to Job Initiation screen ?

- If I move it to Job Initiation Screen then it becomes simple .

It does not make any difference in the two. Only thing to check is on which screen you have the control over callback.

In callback method of task object, you can define which successorset is to be activated after the current task.
