Is it possible to do some customization in appearance of visual preview toolbar? I want to change the color of the toolbar and its position at which it appears on the page being previewed.

Very interesting question but

since it's a 3rd party app, I don't think Interwoven goes very far to support it. You may want to check with Ektron's documentation and/or support.

I'm not referring to Ektron's Visual Formatter. I'm talking about visual preview toolbar that appears when you preview a virtualised page in TeamSite.

There is a way to customize the Visual Preview Toolbar and this is covered in the UICG (User Interface Cusomization Guide) documentation. Specifically, you should start with iw-home/httpd/webapps/content_center/vpreview/jsblob/container.inl and then rebuilt the UI after making your changes..
