Branded Media Player component

Hi All,
We have been using LS 2 for a while now.
There is a business need to have Media component.I came to know that Livesite used to ship with this component OOTB.
But during my LS 2.2.1 installation it did nt appear anywhere.
Is there any way to get that?

Sometimes we remove a component from the base install but keep it around as a supplement. There are two other zip files full of components shipped with LiveSite 2.2.1 (demo_components.zip and test_components.zip). You could check those files to see if they contain the component you need. Expand the zips to a directory, and then examine the script component_import.bat (or .sh) for instructions on how to import them into LiveSite.

I don't see a "Media" component in those zip files although it may have been renamed. What are you looking for this component to do?

here is the intention/requirement..

The Braded Media Player component can be used to display a media based file e.g. audio or recording with company branding. End user can click on the Media Player link which opens the users default Media Player setting with the company branding.

I'm not aware of such a component ever having shipped with the core LiveSite product. It certainly sounds feasible, though, so it may have been part of SalesSite or ECM Connector or part of some other sample implementation. Your primary Interwoven sales or implementation contact should be able to help track it down.
