Difference between the "Recognition Models" and "Classification Models"
Aryan
Whats the difference between the "Recognition Models" and "Classification Models"?
Both seem to be similar and taxonomy based?
What makes one very specefic and the other generic?
Thanks,
Aryan

This is well documented in the user guide and the reference guide. Short answer - classification uses training sets to match a doc to a node or nodes in the taxonomy based upon statistical similarity. Recognition extracts terms and uses an identical match.

There's a webcast recording from February that covers some of this.
