Odd messages during OD 6.1 Linux patch install
Bill Klish
RedHat Enterprise 4.0
OpenDeploy 6.1
I attempted to install the latest patch 1726 for OD 6.1 and saw these errors in the console during the install, right before it attempted to start my opendeploy server
Start post installation
cat: /etc/defaultiwaccesshome: No such file or directory
mv: cannot stat `/jre/bin/libcsfauthjni.so': No such file or directory
cp: cannot create regular file `/jre/bin': No such file or directory
Finish update CSF file
I suppose I can file a support case, but was curious if anyone else saw this.
Oddly enough, the CSF install failed telling me it couldn't install in UI or console mode. This is a server with no X windows installed and I have seen issues with java installers written for sun products that bomb if no x window display can be found even in console mode.

Any ideas?

The problem is an undocumented RPM that you need to have present on your Linux server if you don't have X Windows installed.
The rpm you to install is:
xorg-x11-deprecated-libs
