Authors working on same content

Hi ,

Using TS 6.1 Win 2k SP4 .

I have a simple WF .

I have two (or more ) authors , who will be assigned to work on same document .They have the same version of document initially , when they start the work .

After they are done with their work , they submit the doc for approval .

As soon as approval is done there is a submit task which will submit the doc automatically to staging .

Since the is an automatic task , so what should we do to make sure that both the versions of document ( of Author1 & Author2 ) after approval are first merged & then send to STAGING .

If anyone just give me some hint on how to implement such situations in WF .

Assumptions:

You'll probably have to play with it a bit to figure out the details (who owns what task in which area, creating a base script to run the CCI URI out of, having a failure transition for the submittask that (eventually) goes back to the CGI task to do the merge, etc.) - but I think the above is a workable strategy given my assumptions based on your description.I'd be interested in hearing how this turns out...
