Installation issues with Oracle

We just finished the install of Mediabin 4.5.1. The service is showing that it is running, but no client can connect. The MBP log shows the error of:

******************** MediaBin Server Version 4.5.1 Build 16 starting. ********************
10/25/06 11:02:01 Service account user: XXXXXXX
10/25/06 11:02:22 Incompatible schema versions expected "4.5.1" found "".

The ODBC test connection works (OraHome920), and the schema exist on in the DB. Any thoughts?

There are some known issues with MB4.5.1 and Oracle DB. Please install MB4.5.2.

First, I heartily concur that it would be better to load 4.5.2 as it has some significant bug fixes as compared to 4.5.1.

That being said, the Oracle install has several teps and it appears it was not correctly finished. You should start from scratch and, in particular, make sure that the MBPAdminConsole is run at the appropriate time. There is a detailed install guide and every step is necessary, as some data is loaded to the database via scripts and some via this program.
