UTF-8 4000 Byte Issue

Hello Gurus,

Is there a limitation in storing content filed values more than 4000Bytes in Teamsite DCRs? or is this limitation mainly in the database field if we are storing the DCR field values in the database? Please explain.

You did not bother to indicate your DB but "4000", well...
In Oracle maximum length of a VARCHAR is 4000-bytes, formally that means
666-4000 UTF-8 characters. There is no such limitation in DCR

Since dcr's are xml files there is no limitation to amount of data which can be stored, but yes there can a limitation to DB field.
