urgent :: issue with PT

Hi guys,
I have a DCT that has a browse button for selecting an image, and another browse button for selecting the target URL.

My images and target pages are stored in ==> web dir

So in the DCT, I have selected an image and an html page from the web dir.

After the DCT is saved, and when viewed in the DCR.... everything is correct.

but when a Presentaion template(PT) is written to display the paths... it shows wrong path for the target URL.

the actual path for image is:: /web/abc.jpg
the actual path for html page is :: /web/file1.shtml

but the output from the PT is ::
path for image is :: /web/abc.jpg
path for html page is :: /development/file1.shmtl (this is shown wrong)

My branching structure is::

workarea is:: development
category is:: directory
data folder is:: home

I am working on TS 6.5, windows 2000 professional

Please help me out to resolve this issue..

Is this happening consistently (i.e. not just in this particular case)? Could not a simple regular expression solve this or am I oversimplifying?

1. Does the DCR contain the proper path ?

2. does the HTML contain the proper data ? (do a view source, do not trust what you see rendered, there could be some proxy settings)
