iwaddtaskfile > Error:00001 Failure in operation

Hi,

I tried executing the below command from the command prompt but encountered "Error:00001 Failure in operation" . Please suggest.

iwaddtaskfile -s myserver 26691 test.dcr "test to add task file".

Where are you running this command from?? I mean which folder??

If you are not inside the data folder where you have your test.dcr file is there then you have to give the complete vpath.

You want the area-relative path to the file - not the complete vpath (run iwaddtaskfile -h for usage)
