Problem with fillist DataDeployment

Hi,

I generate a file from a dcr, and iam setting extended to that generated file.

I am doing filelist based datadeployment using attached configuration file.
Which has option as narrow tuple.

Its inserting only last key=value pair i.e
TeamSite/Templating/PrimaryPT: summary.tpl

please tell me why its not inserting all key value pairs.

Any help will be appreciated.

Is there a reason you are doing a narrow deployment? I don't necessarily think that's your problem, but I think you'll find that a lot of folks have more experience with UDS or wide tuples. It may just be that there aren't that many folks out there who have played with narrow tuples enough to offer an opinion.

Thanks for reply, when I change option as wide, I am unable to specify key and value in the value_from_field of column element.

I can do with wide tuple with below attached conf file, but when i keep deleted file in the file list its not deleting from the database insted its throwing an error as I have insert and update elements inside database tag.

Any suggestions will be helpful.

The document od.602.ddadmin.pdf on page no 192 says :

Narrow Tuple ::

A tuple that contains only two fields in addition to the path and state
fields. The names of the fields are “key” and “value”. Narrow tuples
are not a common way to deploy data due to structural constraints.
For example, because a narrow tuple can contain only one key-value
pair, OpenDeploy must create multiple tuples if a file’s extended
attributes consist of more than one key-value pair. Also, you cannot
deploy data content records using narrow tuples and you cannot
automatically deploy narrow tuples with DAS. DAS only accepts
wide tuples.

A tuple is essentially a row in the DB table - if you have two key-value pairs (e.g.: title = "problem with fillist DataDeployment" and date="2006-06-23") then you will end up with two rows of data, one for each item being deployed:

path	state	key	value
...	...	title	problem with fillist DadaDeployment
...	...	date	2006-06-23

DataDeploy as of 6.0.2 (I believe, maybe earlier) is a module of OpenDeploy - so it's possible that there is a reference to OpenDeploy (as the underlying engine / system) which would be less confusing if it was DataDeploy. Is that what you mean?

But its not giving any options to create multiple tuples inside DD conf file for narrow tuples, which I have shown my ext atts in my top post.

Or am I missing some thing in my conf file, if you help w,r,t that will help a lot.
