setting DCR/Type extended attribute

A DCR has the "TeamSite/Templating/DCR/Type" attribute set automatically to Category/DataType, but I don't see how. It probably doesn't matter, but I'd like to know where/when/how this happens. Any help?

When you create a DCR by doing File > New Form Entry - and select the category and data type - it opens a window with the rendered DCT for you to fill in. When you save that form - it creates the DCR and sets the EA on the file.

or, a DCR could have been created by a script, which creates/copies an XML file and tags it with appropriate EAs.

I do this quite extensively, actually.....

You can use the iwextattr CLT to set the EA to a DCR if you write some script or from command line, something like below

[HTML]iwextattr -s TeamSite/Templating/DCR/Type=
