Scheduling asset intake

Is there a way to schedule asset intake so we can input during low network activity. Deployment Agent seems to be used for batch retrieval of assets and not intake.
Also, is Deployment Agent a separate product?

There is no out-of-the-box way to schedule intake but a few suggestions. Jobs can be run at low priority. Alternatively, in a clustered system, machines can be set aside specifically to handle ingestion without affecting the other machines in the cluster. Also it may be possible to set up hot folders to accomplish what you want via a script that waits until a set time. Or you could write a simple ingestion script and use the existing Windows scheduling mechanisms to kick it off at a desired time.

On question two, yes Deplyment Agent is a separate product.
