Teamsite Groups on 6.7

Hi All,

I am thinking of generating our tsgroups.xml, by writing a perl script to parse our existing /etc/group file from our Teamsite 6.1 instance, rather than recreating all groups manually.

Has anyone done this? Can you forsee any problems

in 6.7.1 there should be some automated script to do that. At least this is what I've heard during the latest webcast.

As per me, i would not like to do in that way. Might be the compiled code written is putting encrypted values anywhere else as well.

So, its better to go throgh proper defined way.

Since tsgroups is an xml file I creating it manually should not be an issue, so using an script to create on your own can save the effort.
