Status of Content Center Files

Hi All,

I have the vpath of dcr/html i want to know the status of the file in a Workarea ie. locked/unlock and the lock owner.

Any idea how this can be implemented?

Hmm - have you looked at the CLT manual? or the contents of IWHOME/bin ?
Two come to mind: iwfilestate and iwlockinfo

There two commands are giving two separate results :

iwlockinfo returns:

Name: index2.html
Area: ro_wa
Assignor: sap\rpatha
Assignee: sap\mokuma
State: Locked
Time Stamp: [Sat Aug 05 21:17:47 2006]
Comments: Comment

iwfilestate returns :
Conflict: No
Current: Yes
Modified: Yes
Editable: Yes
Locked by self

Both the values are conflicting . In first case it is showing 'sap\mokuma' as assignee . But in second case it is showing Locked by self.

sap\mokuma has actually locked the files , I have logged in as sap\rpatha .

Could u pls let me know why this is so ?

Is this file part of a workflow? I'll assume yes.
You are logged in as rpatha - and originally the file was locked by you (self).
The workflow transitioned the lock in one of the tasks to mokuma - when a workflow transitions a lock, it does not completely change the owner of the lock, it instead assigns the lock to someone else - therefore you are the assigner - and mokuma is the assignee
