Is Document Import via web to WorkSite Web 8.2 flakey?

We have been using WorkSite Web for a few weeks now, and we run it behind Tivoli Access Manager (TAM).

An issue we keep running into is that the document import function seems flakey. Sometimes it works fine, for single or multiple document imports. Please note that we are using the File Control option as we want to minimise the amount of hassle for external web users in using WorkSite Web.

Often, the document import fails to retrieve the profile screen. The first screen works, and allows us to select as many documents as we like. But the second screen, the one that shows the profile data (and we're using the Common Profile checkbox) does not always appear. Instead we're left with a completely blank HTML document, and no error.

We did have a problem like this with the ActiveX control, and were told that was specifically related to TAM. However, the File Control seemed to be working until recently ...

Has anyone else had this problem?

Do you get any JavaScript error ? By any chance your TAM is blocking any javascript files ? (because of recent policy change etc?) . In one place we had noticed that the import dialog was sort of hanged and it was because one of WSW javascript file (olelinking.js) was blocked by the proxy server for some reasons and fixing that in proxy server did the charm..
