Ah, let me see... There can be just about few hundred different reasons... Seriously, if you want some help, provide some input.
- For starter, platform(s) and software versions, Oracle platform and version
- Did you validate Data Source (your dbi Smiley Surprised

racle: ora_hr_db) outside of your code and if so, how?
- Your connection failed, what is the value of $dbh->errstr?

In short, what does "I tried all the ways" mean?

You should also verify that you can connect to Oracle (presumably on port 1521) as a client from the machine running that script, presumably your TeamSite server.
