How do you want to change the server name ? Did you install TS with name server1 and now you want to call it server2 ?

Actually it never asked for a name.But the IP shows up, and I want to change it to a little more meaningful name

So if you put the URL

http://TS-server/iw/.......

it changes to

http://192.168.0.1/iw/..... ?

in the My Workarea field and not in the URL ? Posting a screenshot may help.

If this is the case then you can test it out by putting the TS server into your hosts file and see if it changes.

This is controlled in the cssdk.cfg file located in the iw-home/cssdk/cssdk.cfg file. There is a property called defaultTSServer or something like that. Check to see if your IP address is listed in there. Either way, set this property to be the name of the server you want to appear. You will need to do an iwreset afterwards
