Perl Module installation problem

Hi,
We are getting a problem while installing a perl module on solaris.
I am able to do makefile.pl but not able to do make and make install .
It gives me the following error

Command failed for target `MMagic.o'.
This error occured while installing File::MMagic::XS .
Please if any one have any idea give me some suggestions.

Far more information and context is required to give someone a chance at trying to help you.

The basic premise is that you don't have a sufficient development environment on your server to allow you to build the software - and you should carefully examine the README and/or perldocs for the module you're trying to build.
