TS 5.5.2 customized items

we have in teamsite 5.5.2 couple items added to file menu, and both items are links to websites as far as i know.
in the process of upgrading to TS 6.5, i know how to add those two links to TS 6.5 and how to run maketool kit since there is document about interface customzation for TS 6.5.

but i cant find any document that talks about interface customzation for TS 5.5.2.

and my question here, is for TS 5.5.2, where do u go to custom TS interface? i just want to check out those two items that are added to the file menu to make sure that they are only links to websites.
so it will be nice if somebody knows where i can find the changes made to TS file menu in TS 5.5.2

i learnt that a while back, but i forgot. and i am guessing in TS 6.5 we dont do it this way anymore, we actually go to some folders and files source_custom or something like that(specified in the documentation) and we do things there?

i just wanted to verify that so i would ask again...

yes 5.5.2 custom menus are done in the iw.cfg

in 6.X there is the UI customization guide. Find the appropriate ui_custom.xml, make the changes, and run make_toolkiit.ipl
