Conversion to UTF-16

I have to convert UTF-8 code from my DCRs to UTF-16 Little Endian.

Simply put, I need a function with string argument in UTF-8 that returns a string in UTF-16LE.

Any help, links, RTFMs appreciated

What OS? I've heard of, but have never had need to try, a little utility called "iconv" which is supposed to do a pretty decent job of converting from one charset into another. It's native to Linux and is also available on Windows, but as a download.

Thanks Dave. I'll try to find it. My OS and whatnot is in the signature - so that I do not have to worry about it
