New user issue

Hi all,

Thanks in advance. We recently moved to TS 6.7.1. Everything seems to be ok and all the workflows works good, but for the workflows involving the group tasks. We are unable to execute the workflow in case if a new user is added to the TS. If we try to execute the workflow with already existing users, it works fine with out any issue. Here is the screen shot, which we get once we try to execute the workflow. Please refer attachment.

It is to be noted that none of the users can execute the workflow if a new user is added. Everyone gets the same error message. We also add the new user to the group called "TeamSiteUsers",which is used in the workflow group task.

The error message seems to indicate that the user NORTHAMERICA\cus993054 does not have write permission on the default/main/gateway/www/WORKAREA/work workarea. Did you check if this workarea is writable for the user specified?

You need to add NORTHAMERICA\cus993054 user in the TS system for the required rights for that particular group / workarea.

Well, the user has been already added to the TS user group and also has enough permissions on the folders and files, he is working with. Interesting thing to note here is this issue is happening if I add any user as an Editor but not for Administrator.

As with TeamSite 6.7.1 new workflow modeler has been introduced along with major changes with role management, I would suggest you to do some study about new workflow engine and what needs to be updated.

sending your workflow code could help to suggest something useful.

Does that user have a role on that branch. Also is he member of the group sharing the workarea?
