Yes, it is possible to find out the number of replicants through FormAPI.
IWDatacapture.getItem("/NAME_OF_REPLICANT").getChildren().length;

I think, he wants to get the # in the PT. You can make a iterator and count the # in perl.

Or you can write the whole thing in perl and use perl semantics:

...
my @list = iwpt_dcr_list('dcr.replicant');
my $length = scalar(@list);
...

Thats where T & E come into the picture. Known as : Training & Experience OR Trial & Error.

Training would provide you an overall understanding of products and methods and trying them gives you error. Resolving them would help you gain more experience. Smiley Wink
