It is already there. The user who searches gets to see only the files he can view in teamSite.

Hi Hemant,

The acutal problem is like this. If I am searching for some attribute in the content, I am getting the files submitted/modified by other users also. Of course, I do not have access to those files.

So, is it possible to restrict the search only to those files to which I have access. Other files should not be listed rather they should not be taken for searching, since I dont have access to them.

Could you please help me out?

You can have the access to the documents created/modified by the other teamsite users and hence is the reason u see them in the search results.Verify this by trying to view the file in the teamSite UI without search being involved.

To get the query running for your specific need, you can use the additional search filters in the advanced search screen for the creator, LastModifier etc.
