Is there a way of specifying the "step" value in iw_iterate tag?

some thing like this :
for ($i=0;$i<10;$i=$i+2)

I want to increment the iterator by 2 and not 1 every time.

You can manipulate with the value of i within the loop itself. Moreover if you are trying to give some alternate color scheme or something like that... it is good to use modulus function on value of i.

Also your looping should be something like:
for (i=0;i<$count;i2+)

Then I think you can simply use $i+2 in place of $i=$i+2

I've never tried it, but you might be able to increment the iteration variable you specify. If you don't know how to specify an iteration variable, RTFM. You can also check your server for usage:
