Deploying from OD6.1 to OD5.6 SP1 rcvr Filelist errors

We are in the process of upgrading the OD Base to version 6.1 and according to the Interwoven documentation one can deploy form a 6.1 Base to a 5.6 receiver. However, we are experiencing the following"

LIB: 2006-11-06 10:49:39 ERROR: begin out of phase..
LIB: 2006-11-06 10:49:39 Receiver-ERROR: .
LIB: 2006-11-06 10:49:39 ERROR: Failed to begin transaction.

and

ENG: 2006-11-08 09:20:45 CST GMT-06:00 Thread-142 COMPARE
LIB: 2006-11-08 09:20:45 Remote-ERROR: remote-dir-not-ok
LIB: 2006-11-08 09:20:45 ERROR: Failed to deploy local_directory[.] of area[Y:\AllstateFinancial\main\AccessAllstate\STAGING] for filelist[D:\iw-home\custom\AllstateFinancial\AccessAllstate\ODfilelist\od_filelist_414523.txt]
LIB: 2006-11-08 09:20:45 ERROR: Failed 1 of 1 filelists

Has anyone experienced this before?

Check the support site, IIRC, there is a patch you need to push from 6.1 to 5.6. I *think* it is that the receiver complains with the rev of the sender.

i am about to the exact same thing, we also have OD 5.6 sp1 on W2k that i want to gradually upgrade to OD 6.1. i posted about it, i will follow up with this case because we will need some of ur experience to get ours to work.
i will try to provide as much help as i can too
