Changes in COM interface/workflow between WorkSite 7 and WorkSite 8

Hi,

Could you pls suggest documents/downloads that we need to investigate in order to solve following task: it seems that one of our products works (connect/request a file) fine with WorkSite v8 but it experiences problems with v7. We would like to collect information about interface differences, etc for v8/v7.
Unfortunately, we have no direct access to "Downloads" area - we must ask another person to download exact document/file.

Also:
1. Is there any document that describes changes in COM interfaces from version to version?
2. Is there any document that describes correspondence between versions of SDK and WS?
