Changes in COM interface/workflow between WorkSite 7 and WorkSite 8

Hi,

Could you pls suggest documents/downloads that we need to investigate in order to solve following task: it seems that one of our products works (connect/request a file) fine with WorkSite v8 but it experiences problems with v7. We would like to collect information about interface differences, etc for v8/v7.
Unfortunately, we have no direct access to "Downloads" area - we must ask another person to download exact document/file.

Also:
1. Is there any document that describes changes in COM interfaces from version to version?
2. Is there any document that describes correspondence between versions of SDK and WS?

The 8.0 imanage.dll introduced all the IManXXX interfaces which were not there in 7.* (it was a vast reworking of the object model, although the old interfaces continue to be supported for now). If you are using the IMan* interfaces, they won't work with any prior versions.

The INRT* interfaces should not have changed going to 8.0.

Prior to 8.0, we were shipping separate DLLs for the web vs. non-web products, and they had a few IDL differences for interfaces one or the other required. With 8.0, we went (yeah!) to a single DLL.

There was an unfortunate modification in the AttributeID enumerators as follow:

7.5:
nrMarkedForArchive = 84,
nrEchoEnabled = 85,
nrSubType = 86,
nrCustom31 = 90,
nrEditProfileTime = 91,
nrAccessTime = 92,
nrMessageUniqueID = 97,


8.0:
nrSubType = 84,
nrEditProfileTime = 85,
nrCustom31 = 96,
nrMarkedForArchive = 97,
nrEchoEnabled = 98,
nrAccessTime = 99,
nrMessageUniqueID = 100,

If you are using these enumerators, you will have to be careful about them.
