Please confirm the following.

[font=Arial]In TeamSite 6.5, it is possible to lock a deleted file that has been submitted at least once before deletion.

[font=Arial]In TeamSite 6.7, this action is NOT possible. In GUI (Actions -> Lock) the following error message will be thrown “An error occurred locking file : Object being looked up was not found”

This sounds like an improvement over the past where deleted files with locks on them tended to cause problems. However - you should probably file a request (bug report) with IWOV Support to get the error message / error code changed so that the specific issue can be identified programmatically - then you can figure out how to treat the situation if it occurs during any automated code you write.
