Calling 'Metadata Capture Screen' on 'Finish' button click

Hi ,

Using TS 6.5 Sol 5.8.

Is there any way to call the metadata capture screen after clicking on the 'Finish' button present in DCT ?

I have seen this functionality in case of workflow ...wherein u can call the metadata capture screen as part of your CGI task ....

If you set up a WF, you can do this. Make this the 1st step in the WF and have it triggered off of tt_data. When you click finish, the DC screen will come up.

This can be a "fake" workflow. If you do not want the content going to Staging, then just have a set metadata task and and end task.

you did not say which content center you are using. in CC STD this is a standard feature, that can be disabled. If your users use both CC STD and CC PRO, to have the same user experience, I'd remove the tagging step from the wizard and do what Andy has described.

The finish button contains Save & Close functionality. You can call MetaData onSaveDone event for instance.
Use the following code::
