Not quite sure what you are looking for but you could kick off a new workflow after the submit task of a submit workflow so ... yes, there is a way to initiate a workflow after the file is moved to the staging. Smiley Very Happy

RTM Command Line Tools: iwatsub, iwat
(I prefer using the latter) these will allow you to fire off a script after a submit event has occurred - the script you fire off can then initiate a workflow.

Note however, that as of 6.x - all submits that occur through the OOTB GUI interface initiate workflows - so unless you're particularly concerned about someone submitting files via the file system interface or via some other customization that calls iwsubmit directly - you simply need to create the workflows you want and configure them in available_templates.cfg to run for the 'submit' command.
