Database table to DCR

Hi,
Working on a project, where we have existing data in the database in various tables. I need to extract the data from the database and import to teamsite, meaning create DCRs in iwov format, with replicants having the data in a particular group. Any ideas on how this can be done.

PS: We do not have perl DBI modules installed on this server to access the database through perl and installation is not allowed.

Good luck then - perhaps you can write all the code in Java, or maybe VBscript (I think I'm kidding, but it might be possible?)

Better would be to convince the powers-that-be to install Perl DBI on the TS server and ensure that there is access from the TS server to the DB through Perl DBI.

You can use DataDeploy to go from DB to XML. You may be able to get it in the correct TST format initially or you can write a short script to convert XML to templates. Of course you could also create XML style templates.

Still need to add the EAs but that is easy.
