Deprecated Hash

I know i am asking a very basic question... but i am not aware of the cause of the following warning. Can anyone help me out to resolve the issue?

Using a hash as a reference is deprecated at line ****.

[color=Black]I am just assigning a dynamically retrived key and value to a pre-defined hash. The key is the question and an array is the multiple para answer to the question.

%qaData->{$finalQueryText}=\@allAnswers;

I suggest you try:

$qaData{$finalQueryText} = \@allAnswers;

I cannot tell from the limited amount of code you posted what it is you're accessing, but the error message makes it reasonably likely that %qaData is defined within the context of the statement shown and that you therefore are referencing the hash and not a reference to the hash.
