HOWTO: Using COM objects in TeamSite

Our company is new to IW/TS. We have existing VB/COM dll's which we want to re-use in TS for implementing various business logic during content creation. We are planning to use Java/JSP for IW development.

Can you guide me on the best way to do this?

Are you people using workflows? If yes, then call them using externaltasks. These are type of tasks within workflow which can execute or run any system command.
