Emails to WSMP inbox got moved to SPAM folder
jman
Hi,
I’m working on a WSMP pilot for a customer. They encountered a problem on WSMP inbox, when emails are sent from internal accounts, they will be moved to the SPAM folder within JAMES instead of being delivered to the inbox. However, external accounts e.g. yahoo, gmail have not problem and works fine. The customer is using Outlook/Exchange.
Anyone seen this before and can help?
Besides, is JAMES have any rule configured by-default for handling SPAM emails?
Thanks,
John

You may want take a closer look at the configurations in your JAMES.xml file (in the james directory under the mpserver installation root). Specifically as to how the RemoteAddrNotInNetwork mailet is configured. I'm pretty sure its that one, although you can try commenting them out one by one (you will need to recycle james), to confirm which mailet is rerouting the emails as spam.

thanks.
it's resolved by disabling those anti-spam "matchers" in JAMES.

I tried to disabled the spam mailet but it still doesnt work. Instead of putting it in the spam folder, the mail sit in the outgoing folder for ever and are never shown in the Worksite addressable folders. Any insights?
