TeamSite Administration Problem

maddy

Hi,

I have added myself to master.uid file but when i login to the TeamSite UI using my credentials I'm unable to see the Administration besides content and workflow tabs, as well as I'm unable to edit any content nor import. What may be the problem.

I don't why master is not able to see the UI fully with all the feature.

Please help.

Maddy

You are sure that you looged in as master? did you check that from the "About" link on the top? I would suggest to reboot the server, somethines this can fix things. If you still see the problem. Stronlgy recommend to open a case with support. And please do post the solution suggested by them.
Thanks

Ya i have logged in as master.

- specify platform and versions
- did you iwreset after changing role files?
- note that being master doesn't give you the right to edit files. Only having the proper filesystem permissions will let you edit files (or modify folders)

I'm using Windows platform and Teamsite 6.5. Ya we have set the permissions too. But I think master anyways should have all the rights to all the branches or workareas in such case. Still i have checked the permissions they exist.

Are you loggin into CCPro?

Did you used to see it and now you don't?

CAn others logged in as Master see it?

Ya I'm logging into TeamSite using CC Professional.
The time from which I'm added into the master list I'm unable to see the tab.
Other masters can veiw the administration tab.

Check your permissions (UITK) or else open a support ticket.

There is another thread started by homesick123 and he is also facing the same issue. You can refer that thread as well for possible suggestions. Contacting support would be best option I guess if your problem will not solve.
