Can anybody explain the following message:

May be its modified by someone else... but you have acquired the lock later.

In what context ? Were you working in a different workarea than YYY ? What is your locking model ?

As per Nipper's questions - I'd assume that you are in some other workarea (other than YYY) on the same branch when you attempted to edit the DCR - and you previous obtained a lock on the DCR within the YYY workarea.

If this is not the case - you need to provide more details.

I was in the same workarea, but I'm using CCI url commands to access the dcr.

I think the problem is "std vs pro" interface. I'm locking the file in ccstd, then try using ccpro, and I get that error.

I think I've found a problem:

The command I use is:
http:///iw-cc/command/iw.group.ccstd.edit?vpath=

instead of
http:///iw-cc/command/edit?vpath=

That certainly sounds like a bug then. I would report it, after you verify that you are actually in different workareas when you do this.
