Restrict the user

Hi,
I am working on Teamsite 6.5. I want to restrict the user for branch level.
I dont want to display the particular branch from the user.
How to do that?

Within iw.cfg file there are key value pairs as WORKAREA_SECURITY=OFF/ON and BRANCH_SECURITY=OFF/ON. Put your branch level security as ON.

Also to note... if the user does not have even the READ permission of that particular branch then only you can hide the same. However if the user has only the read permission then the branch name would be greyed out.
