can't add trustee to security policy

I am having an issue adding users to a security policy.

When I go to Edit a security policy for a workspace, the user that I selected to add from the pop list doesn't show up on Edit security policy window.

Has any one else experienced this problem? and if so, what was done to fix it?

Does this user have previleges and configured in Library Manager to show in your workspace?

When the user is the member of an imported LDAP-group it doesn't show!?!?!

Try to search for the user using the sarch-tab. That ought to work.

I can find the trustee when I create the security policy and select a trustee, but when I add the trustee, I don't see the trustee listed on the screen where the trustees (users) are listed.

So, when I create the security policy, it doesn't have any trustees added.

Are you trying to edit the default policies (Private/Public/view), or are you creating the new security policy.

When you edit the default security policies, you will not see the trustees.

If you are creating a new security policy, then the trustee you wish to add must be first a member of the workspace.

I am creating new security policies or editing customized security policies.

I am pretty sure that the trustees I am adding are members, but I'll verify that.
