Hi,

I want Workflow to trigger after the "Finish" button is clicked in the .pages form.

Please let me know if there are some configurations to be done to achieve this.

Your available_templates.cfg should include a block to look something like the following:

This answers your question of how to configure TS to fire a particular workflow when "Finish" is clicked but you will likely need to read more of the workflow documentation for the version of TeamSite you are using.

I didn't worked on workflows with livesite, is it the same thing to trigger workflow with livesite as well?

I have already configured my availabel_templates.cfg with

But when i click the "Finish" button it is not triggering the Workflow. Is there any other configuration i have to do. Please let me know.

The

tt_data

construct in

templating.cfg

applies to DCRs but not to LiveSite pages... in fact, templating.cfg has nothing to do with LiveSite.

The functionality you desire is the default behavior in the ContentCenter Standard interface, but is not currently available in ContentCenter Professional.

There is a feature request already in the system to expose this functionality for .page, .component, .template, and .site in CCPro.

This might be possible through customization of livesite part of .page file configuration while clicking on finish Button.

What version of TS? If you care to search the forums, this has been discussed before. I remember I posted an answer on this a while ago.

Pre TS 7 -- it works OOTB in CC Std.
TS 7 -- there is an option to publish a page directly from the SP drag-n-drop UI.

I did some search before and after I posted this and came to know that there is a FR on this. We will be adding our company to that FR. But wanted to see if there is any solution.

We are using TeamSite 6.7.2. I will look forward to install 7 once it is generally available to all customers. Thanks for your information again.

I want to make sure about one more thing is, can we customize the preview and save links on the SitePublisher page editor? or do we just take care of this too with proxy configurations in iw.cfg?

Nope no solution. If your editors use the SCE, then there is a submit button on the toolbar, it is not as good as the finish button on the form but it is the best you will find.

What sort of preview customization do you want to do?

We need to deploy the .page to LiveSite run time preview server which has a jsp with .page embedded in it. So we would like to do a deployment if we click on "preview".

But I got my answer from Sunil menon saying that it's not possible to customize the links on the page editor, will be planned in future releases after TeamSite 7. Do you have any other pointers or suggestions?
