Receiver running at 99%
soze
Hi,
In our production environment, we are using OpenDeploy 6.1 to deploy files out to four servers running in a Linux environment via four separate receivers.
What we are finding is a scenario like the following
Server1: OD Process running at 99%
Server2: OD process running at 43%
Server3: OD process running at 26%
Server4: OD process running at 24%
This was one snapshot of what was happening the other day, but it doesn't just happen to one server, it can happen to any of them.
I assumed and bear with my noobiness on this that the receivers simply sat there happy and quiet until a request came along and they did their job thus freeing up memory once the deployment had taken place.
What I did see was that at a certain point when we lost firewall connectivity to one of the servers there were several jobs queued up in TeamSite.
Would this have any affect on the OD processes, I find it strange that one would go so high and the others tended to remain relatively low.
Any insight to OD processes would be appreciated or has anyone else experienced this? Is there something we could tweak or would it be a case of RTFM?
Cheers
Soze.
