Changing the character set of DCR

Hi All,

Thanks in advance. When I create a DCR, and view the code of the DCR, it always get generated with characterset=UTF-8. Is there a way, I can change the characterset of DCR? Any help is appreciated.

DCR is SAVED, not generated, in fact.

As with any XML, one could set the encoding in the tag. In our case it's datacapture.cfg that needs to be modified.

Alternatively, one could set output encoding for generated files.

Could you explain your requirement because utf-8 can support all the charatersets, what special encoding you are looking for?

just look in the manual as to what other encodings are supported and available.

I know which all encoding are supported, but since uft-8 is universal and can be used for all language types, just curious for reason to change..

It may be required for various reasons. For example, you introduce IWOV CMS to already existing Site(s) with different encoding
