These are the kinds of things that would potentially lead to the problem you're seeing.

Hi ghoti

Thanks for ur reply !

I have checked all the points that u have mentioned . They are all right .

Still I am getting this error .

Is there something wrong with IIS .

I have checked IIS also ...i can see the iw-mount over there .

Pls let me know any other clues if u have .

The only reason you would be getting this error is due to the fact that TSIMP_hostname is deleted from Teamsite Web Preview Group or its password changed.

Check the under iw.cfg -> webserver_group

Good Question, but I do not have a answer for this Smiley Happy

This account is created by Teamsite for anonymous access. I search installationa and admin guide but could not find anything about it. Sorry...

One thing more :

when i type http://localhost:81/

it gives me "Page Not Found" error .

Ideally this page should not come .

Pls let me know why this is happening ?

Thats the issue, you replied to Adam's query that your virtual directory is defined fine.

Can you check if your Y: is visible and active

RajatChopra

I am facing the same error.

Suggestions anyone?

The groups and user is defined. I see a popup asking me for user name password about 20 times, and no matter what value i give it, it won't proceed.

Ultimately the page is loaded with no css, images, etc. Just links.

nipper

Have you added a password to the TSIMP user ? If so you need to set the virtual directory to allow anonymous access to that user.

RajatChopra

I added the password and also set the anonymous access to it.

Reset IIS

Running iwproxy in debug mode.

No use. Keeps on popping up the silly error message.

Rookie Mistake!!!

After all these trials and errors, the TSIMP_hostname account got locked out.

Changed the password, changed it to never expire. VOILA!!

Thanks Andy.
