Changing the Value in a DCR Using Form API

Hi , We Have a Field in our DCRs


----***User Group Name***----


This Value is Picked up when a New DCR is Created . We have made a seprate module for the same .

Now when we change the User Group for the Particulat Branch , This Value Does Not Change.

Is there any way that we can include some code in FormApi (i.e. validation.js) files and queries the CLT using iwattrib command and get this value when we try to edit an existing DCR only.

We tried the inline callout , but as we have more than 300 Templates , It was not approved to include a seprate field in the datacapture.cfg.
