autonaming

This doesn't work anymore i guess. Is there any function similar to this one in 6.5? I mean with out using Formapi on onSave/OnSaveas.

Why are you trying to avoid using FormAPI? Have you read the documentation for 6.5? It provides a lot of good functionality for doing things like this.

You are using a script that was written for 5.5, and posted here to devnet. There was some code around this you need to include, which did the FormAPI

I am not avoiding it, i am always not so comfortable with FormApi. But i guess i need more practice in it. Thank you for suggestion, i guess now i will write something in formapi for this functionality.
