To find all the InActive workflows

Hi ,

Our requirement is such that we have to get all the Inactive workflows so that we can remove them .

Is there any script/CLT for that .

In TS workflow is "active" as long as it exists. With very few (and normally short-living) exceptions like trying to acquire a lock workflow has active task(s).
So, what is the problem you are trying to solve? Hung workflows? Active tasks that failed to transition? Something else?

Like , When a User submits a DCR A . It goes to the TO DO List. Again if he or any user submits the same DCR without Approving/Rejecting the Previous Job in Todo List.

The Old Jobs acquires a Status of NA (Not Active).

So I want to remove the Jobs Having NA Status.

Can you please elaborate as how you are storing the status of the job acquiring a status of NA?

In TS vocabulary Job is instantiated Workflow. So once again, it is active as long as it exists.
Workflow Object does not even have "state" attribute, only Task objects do (possible values are active/inactive/done, etc...)

So... What is your platform, OS, TS Version?
What does "Job acquires a Status of NA" mean? Can you illustrate it with screen-shot for example?
Is it possible that you are talking job variables that you set yourself, etc...?

Hi ,

We are using TS 6.1 with Solaris 8 .
The screen shot is an example of the Non Active Job.

The non active (NA) Jobs appears in out TODO List when we submit a DCR for the second time without approving the first submitted DCR.

1. Your Workflow is active.
2. You are looking at the Task information, not Job information. Please consider some TS training if you do not know the difference.
3. Action NA here means "Not Available", it has nothing to do to Active/Inactive state. Usually it indicates that the user has no available permissions on the task
4. The task is hung. The reason is that it is trying to obtain a lock on the resources already locked in the different Workflow. You can modify your WF to use locktask instead of "lock=t" attribute. This way you will be able to fork your WF on getting lock Success/Failure
5. Are you sure your version is 6.1? Screen shot looks like 5.5.x
