od 6.1 p3 cvs adapter running java at 100% utilization

TeamSite 6.7.1

When attempting to launch a deployment with a cvs adapter payload configuration, the deployment hangs and the OD java process runs at 100% utilization.

I cut out the cvs command from the adapter log file and execute it at the command line and it works just fine. The initial run produced the checkout messages. However, it seems to get stuck right after that.

The deployment has 4 such cvs checkouts for different projects as part of an application build process.

I don't see anything in the logs error wise.

This failed on 6.1 patch 2, so I installed patch 3 this morning and still get the same issue.

Is this a known issue?

There is a known JVM issue on RHE 4 and SuSE 9 linux that affects adapter operation (not just CVS adapter). Can you switch to using RHE 3? RHE3 seems to be doing fine.

Can't we just replace the JVM with a different one? What JVM are you speaking of, the one you ship with OD or the one used by Red Hat?

Also, since this is a TeamSite 6.7.1 server, I don't believe Red Hat 3.0 is a supported platform.

That being said, can you tell me how we can work around this issue?
