I don't think you can do that with a task.
The only way of doing t I can think of would be throught the API, by getting the asset, then taking all the previews of the various layers (pages) it contains and saving each one of them as JPG files.

For a single layer PDF the conversion is trivial. You can either just specify a task with a JPEG encoder in which case you will get the default resolution for the PDF file. For multiple page images the first page can be accessed by adding the Flattener.
For more general (i.e., possibly higher) resolution, or to get a picture of pages other than the first by using the PDF Ripper middle primitive (no Flattener in this case!). This will allow you to choose your page and your size. As always the JPEG encoder will let you pick the quality.
