LiveSite Internationalization Issues

Hello All,

I am having problems with putting finninsh and swedish content in to livesite components. Can I have LiveSite to generate iso-8859-1 pages. Currently It seems to generate UTF-8 encoded pages.

You probably want to move to UTF-8 for i18n as it will save you lots of headache later. Why are you working in Latin-1 ? Do you have lots of legacy in Latin 1 that you're looking to expose? All of TS FormsPublisher content should be UTF-8 and you probably should take a look at your processes if you're still producing Latin-1.

Can you give us more info on your usecase for this?

That was the encoding used on the mockups that were provided by the UI agency employed by our customer. Hence I was just wondering whether the same could be used on LiveSite pages.

As I said, it doesn't make sense to use Latin1. Frankly, the UI agency should know this if they're created Web-based materials. If you're just talking about HTML pages then there are a variety of ways that you can easily convert the pages... most text editors will have the UTF-8 option in their "Save As..." dialog.
