IF there are no changes since the INITIAL edition was created, you can create new Edition and name it as INITIAL.

I've tried that solution, but in the "temp" workarea the submit of deleted folder/file doesn't work for some content. After submit thw workarea is not EMPTY.

I don't know why...

If your files/folders doesn't get deleted from workarea, you can do following.

First submit all the files/folders in your workarea.Then create a edition say 'ed1'.
Then delete all files/folders in your workarea and submit them.
If all files/folders doesn't go, then delete the workarea.
Again create the workarea based on previously created edition 'ed1'.
Now once again delete all the files/folders in the workarea and submit them.
All folders will go off from workarea.
Now you can create a edition as INITIAL.
Then u can create a new workarea based on ed1 to get all the files/folders to your workarea.
